“I sang at 'The Music of Rey Valera' with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra led by Maestro Gerard Salonga, and with some wonderful singers at the Solaire on August 1. The next day, I was so sick I couldn't get up. Major congestion and still, a cough. I’ve been coughing for over three weeks now,” she recently wrote on FB. “I went on antibiotics for two of those three weeks and I didn’t get better at all. I am always tired even when I’m not doing anything, also always dizzy and yesterday, I finally (yes, just yesterday, matigas minsan ang ulo ko at ayaw ko agad pumunta sa doctor), I went to see my ENT at Cardinal Santos . Well, I’m now confined at St. Luke’s because my doc warned me that I am contagious. Miguel already got sick. I’m sure nahawa sa akin.”
Anyway, the latest news is that Sharon got better after her eldest daughter, KC Concepcion, visited her at the hospital. It’ll be recalled that mother and daughter had a rift a couple of months ago after Sharon voiced her disapproval of KC’s posting of some sexy poses in social media. KC said that she was confident their rift would be settled in no time at all and their latest pictures while Sharon is lying on her hospital bed shows that they’re so happy being together again. KC also posted that she knows her mom will be recover quickly and will be up and about again in no time at all. Sharon said she already felt so much better after seeing KC again.
About Sharon’s latest assignment with ABS-CBN, there’s a rumor that she might be hosting a talk show with Boy Abunda that will be pitted against the talk show that Ai Ai de las Alas will be hosting with Joey de Leon on the Kapuso Network. But both Sharon and Boy said that this is news to them and they’ve not really been been approached yet formally about it.
