“I’m happy to be part of this show kasi marami akong mga kaibigan sa cast nito,” says Djanin. “Tito Boyet is a family friend at kaibigan ko ang mga anak nila ni Tita Sandy. Friend ko rin si Dianne Medina who’s part of the cast at ang boyfriend niya, si Rodjun Cruz, is my cousin.”
Djanin was last seen in ABS-CBN’s “Moon of Desire”. “Matagal din akong bakante but it turned out to be a blessing dahil during that time na-diagnose na may lung cancer ang dad ko,” she says. “So sinamahan ko siya sa hospital along with my mom. It was a difficult time for us but we are so thankful to the Lord that he is now fully healed. It helped strengthen our faith in God dahil prayers really worked for my dad to be able to recover at ngayon, back to work na siya uli. Magkakasama ang buong family namin sa musical na ‘Joseph the Dreamer’, where my brother plays the title role at si dad naman ang father niya, si Jacob.”In “Beautiful Strangers”, Djanin plays the daughter of Rez Cortez who is in love with Benjamin Alves, the son of Rez’ business associate, Christopher de Leon. “Naging mag-on kami but after may mangyari sa amin, ayaw na niya sa akin, lalo na nang makilala niya si Lovi Poe.”
