TV5’S HEARTTHROB MARK NEUMANN turned 21 years old yesterday, August 23, and he not only celebrated his birthday but also had his christening. Just like Ryzza Mae Dizon and Liza Soberano, Mark had not really been baptized at all. His late Croatian mother and Pinoy dad didn’t have time to take him to church to welcome him to the Christian World.
Ryzza and Liza also had their own christening recently and Mark now officially follows, with Ogie Alcasid, TV5 entertainment head Wilma Galvante, and entertainment press icons Cristy Fermin and Ricky Lo as his ninongs and ninangs. “It’s my most memorable birthday dahil, finally, nabinyagan na ako!” he says.
He feels he really has a lot to be thankful for. “This year is really a good one for me. What with my launch with Shaira Mae in several ‘Wattpad Presents Stories’ and later, with me playing the title role in the local adaptation of the popular Koreanovela, ‘The Baker King’, that’s been extended up to September. My birthday wish now is ma-try ko naman sanang gumawa ng full length movie. I heard may balak ang TV5 for me at sana matuloy iyon. Meantime, huwag kayong bibitaw sa ‘The Baker King’ dahil marami pang exciting twists and turns in the story until it ends in September.”
