CONGRATULATIONS to Director Jun Robles Lana. The movie he wrote and directed, “Anino sa Likod ng Buwan (Shadow Behind the Moon)”, won no less than four awards at the 13th Meridian International Film Festival in Vladivostok, Russia last Friday night.
The movie won the FIPRESCI and NETPAC Awards, also the best director prize for Jun and the best actress award for Lourna Jane (LJ) Reyes. Jun was there to receive the award in person, with producer Ferdie Lapus, but LJ wasn’t able to join them. LJ won for her role as a rebel woman who’s torn in a unique love triangle between another rebel, played by Anthony Falcon, and a soldier, Luis Alandy.
