“Siguro, lahat naman, may time in our life that we make some bad decisions at yun ang napagdaanan ni Aljur,” she says. “But he is now working hard para siya makabalik at gusto na niya talaga uling mabigyan ng show. Gusto na niya talaga magtrabaho uli. But I’m not here to talk in his behalf. Basta he knows I’m just here, ready to support him at sana nga, makabawi na siya.”
How come she has not yet been given a new soap after “Hiram na Alaala” with Dennis Trillo almost a year ago? “Naku, miss na miss ko nang mag-soap. Yung magpuyat sa trabaho. I’m just hoping they’ll assign me one soon. But habang wala pa, heto naman ang Starstruck 6 and also, I’m trying acting on stage for the first time. I’m playing the role of Clarissa, the new Maria Clara, in the modernized version of Rizal’s works, ‘Noli and Fili, Dekada Dos Mil’. This will be staged by PETA starting September 10 sa PETA Theatre. I will be acting opposite Lucho Ayala as Crisostomo Ibarra. Ka-alternate ko si Liza Dino Seguerra and we will be touring various colleges in the Philippines after the run in PETA.”
Is it true she’s now ready to pose sexy for FHM? “They have an offer, pero ayaw pa talaga ng parents ko. Kung ako lang, I can feel ready na ako. But I have to obey my parents.”
