LOLIT SOLIS said she cried when “Startalk” was terminated last Saturday but she didn’t show it on the air. “Importante sa’kin ang ‘Startalk’ kasi it came at a time na down na down ako sa career ko after the Manila Filmfest in 1994,” she says. “Dahil dito, naisip kong may puwang pa pala ako sa industriya. At yun nga, nakabalik ako at tumagal ang show ng 20 years. More than anything else, ang mami-miss ko sa show are the people na naging mga kaibigan ko, lalo na ang staff and crew namin. Marami sa kanila, naging ninang ako ng mga anak o naging ninang ako sa kasal. At yun, after 20 years, hindi ko na sila makakasama. Si Floy Quintos ang director-writer ng ‘Startalk’ for 20 years. Ngayon, sa bagong show namin, ‘CelebriTV’, si Phillip Lazaro na. Siempre, he will be bringing his own team. At least kasama ko pa rin sina Joey (de Leon) and Ricky (Lo), at nadagdag si Ai Ai de las Alas.”
“Celebri-TV” is a combination entertainment talk show and magazine show that features the latest showbiz issues, social media trends, among others. “Naiiba ito,” Lolit adds. “Basta it will be a lot of fun, lalo’t magsasama sina Joey at Ai Ai who will offer surprising revelations from our top celebrities, kaya abangan nila ang hottest controversies and latest chismis na ihahandog ng ‘CelebriTV’ starting this Saturday, September 19, after ‘Wish Ko Lang’.”
