It’s still really “bitin”, and the writers of the kalyeserye, surely a new and different kind of genre on local TV, should be commended because what happened only whetted the appetite of viewers all the more for this Romeo and Juliet-like romance. No wonder the ratings of “Eat Bulaga” eclipsed the ratings of all other shows, including those on primetime.
Yaya Dub was shown being kidnapped by some masked guys. She was hauled off in a van and a netizen joked that this was probably ordered by Kuya of PBB’s Bahay ni Kuya. This is so that Yaya Dub can be taken to ABS and be a housemate at PBB to help beef up the ratings of the ailing reality show whose current residents do not seem to interest the viewing public that much.
Yaya Dub told Alden in Twitter later: “It was nice seeing you… so nice. I am very glad.” To which Alden replied: “Nice seeing you too. Sayang, hindi man lang ako naka-shake hands sa’yo.”
Alden’s career is really at an all time high. He just got two more endorsements from a clothing brand and a new cellphone service provider. But some fans are complaining because Direk Joey Reyes said in his social media account that only Alden is sure to be included in the movie he’ll direct for the Metro Manila Filmfest, now titled “Pabebe Love”. Their asking how come Yaya Dub is not in it. But we’re sure she’ll be included later in the cast as APT Entertainment is now asking her to take acting workshops in preparation for her work in the movie.
Wally Bayola also got a lot of praise for his performance as the strict Lola Nidora. Most people think he should earn an acting nomination or an award for his convincing portrayal of the meddlesome grandma.
