How does he feel that he stars in a show where the lead character is a gay who becomes a transwoman? "You know, in Brazil, I never associated with gays, lesbians and transgenders. I avoided them because there is prejudice against them in some places in my country. If you're straight, why would you hang out with them? But here, I became closer to some gay friends and I'm not ashamed to be seen hanging out with them. I like their company because they're not plastic, they're also so talented."
But this doesn't mean he has had a relationship with a gay. "My gay friends know I'm straight and they respect that. We respect each other. Yun ang importante para we can go on with our friendship.
