DO YOU BELIEVE in ‘pagtawas’? This is a mysterious local procedure where an ‘albularyo’ makes a lighted candle drip its melted parts into a basin of water. Then, based on the images formed on the water, the ‘albularyo’ will make his own diagnosis about the problem of whoever is requesting the tawas procedure.
