"As of now, wala akong balak," he says. "I'd rather focus on acting again kahit may invitations from some political parties for me to run again. Hindi ako makapag-commit dahil may mga natanguan na akong trabaho. Aside from 'Nilalang', may gagawin akong movie in Hollywood in 2016, so I will be away from the country. So tama na munang politics at showbiz muna ako dahil na-miss ko ito. My last movie na nagbida ako was in 2012 pa in 'Hitman'. Last year, I did a short role sa indie film na 'Ronda' ni Ai Ai de las Alas. Sa TV naman, my last project was 'Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas' sa GMA-7 with Lovi Poe. Hindi ako makakatanggap ng teleserye ngayon kasi matatali ka roon, e may movie nga akong gagawin sa Hollywood."
He's happy with "Nilalang" which is to be released by Viva Entertainment, directed by newbie director Pedring Lopez who did the horror flick "Binhi". Aside from Maria Ozawa, his co-stars are Viva talents Meg Imperial and Yam Concepcion with whom he has love scenes. How does he feel that Robin Padilla was the first choice for the role he played?
"Okay lang sa'kin yun. Maganda ang role at project, tatanggihan ko ba? Honored nga akong maging kapalit ni Robin and they told me na natuwa si Robin na ako ang pumalit sa kanya."
His son Diego Loyzaga's career is now doing pretty well at ABS-CBN. How does he feel about it? "Masaya ako sa mga positive na nangyayari sa career niya. He's very busy with many projects and I'm proud of him. I love my son very much and he plans to buy his own house daw from his earnings."
Cesar suddenly looked sad when asked about his three daughters with Sunshine Cruz? "Nakakalungkot dahil matagal ko na silang hindi nakikita. I really hate the idea that I haven't seen them for so long, pero wala akong magawa. I miss them so much. Basta I want them to know na mahal ko sila at ang panalangin ko, maayos na kung anuman ang kaso sa amin ng dati kong asawa para makita ko na uli ang mga anak namin."
