PAULEEN LUNA and Vic Sotto are all set to tie the knot in January. But before them, Cristine Reyes and the father of her daughter, Ali Khatibi, are all set to walk down the aisle in December. Both set of lovebirds won't reveal yet the exact dates of their respective weddings. Cristine has started taping for her comeback soap after giving birth, "Tubig at Langis", a love triangle story where she and Isabelle Daza will fight over Zanjoe Marudo.
In a TV interview with Boy Abunda, she confessed that she cried when Ali proposed marriage to her and did it on a spur of the moment without him even having an engagement ring for her. "Nag-uusap lang kami nang medyo malalim then suddenly bigla niyang sinabi, 'Will you marry me?'" says Cristine. "Siempre, tuwang-tuwa ako. From morning to night, umiiyak ako and it sunk in me the next day na."
She adds that it's in Ali that she found the love she'd been longing for. "He filled up the emptiness in my heart when he came into my life," she declares.
What else can we say but wishes to the prospective bride and groom but best wishes and here's hoping the marriage will last for a lifetime.
