Nakita ko pa lang yung almost 50,000 people who trooped to the arena para suportahan ang movie kahit masama ang panahon that day, overwhelmed na ako. Tapos, the premiere night broke two records sa Guinness kaya lalong nakaka-proud to be part of this historic movie, di ba? Nakakatuwa talaga at sobrang pasasalamat ko na sa akin napunta ang proyektong ito. While watching the audience, nakita kong reactions nila na natutuwa sila sa maraming eksena, kaya naman lalong super satisfied ako to be in this movie.”
“Felix Manalo” is a certified blockbuster. As one writer says: “Giniba ang takilya.” When it opened last Wednesday, there were long lines of people at the box office. SM North Edsa was surprised to get 20 busloads of people from various areas to watch it, so the next day, bookers added more theaters and it’s now being shown in 400 theaters nationwide. In SM Cinemas alone, it’s showing from 4 to 6 theaters and they made the screening start earlier at 9 AM to accommodate the crowds and they also have a late 11 PM screening.. It has allegedly surpassed the records of both local and foreign releases in the country. Congratulations to Viva, the INC and Dennis Trillo for the success of their movie.
