Eat Bulaga That's My Bae Grand Winner Kenneth Earl Medrano Gets Big Break As Martin Del Rosario's Rival Over Kylie Padilla In 'Buena Familia'

EAT BULAGA grand winner Kenneth Earl Medrano of “That’s My Bae” is now managed by Malou Choa Fagar and he got the surprise of his life when he was told he’d be included in the cast of GMA-7’s toprating afternoon soap, “Buena Familia”. And it's an important role because he becomes the rival of Martin del Rosario over Kylie Padilla.
    “I’m really thankful as it’s a good acting break for me,” he says. “Nagpapasalamat din akong ang babait lahat ng mga kasama ko sa show and they welcomed me warmly kahit baguhan lang ako.”

Kenneth used to be a member of the Viva boyband XLR8 but when the group was disbanded, he went back to his native Cebu City. He returned to Manila to audition in “Eat Bulaga’s That’s My Bae” and, as fate would have it, he eventually emerged as the grand winner.

Before getting his role in “Buena Familia”, Kenneth enrolled in a number of acting workshops to hone his craft. “Gusto ko talagang pagbutihan ang acting ko,” he says. “Second chance ko na itong makapasok sa showbiz at sana, this time, magtuloy-tuloy na ang projects ko as I really enjoy what I’m doing.”
