Enrique Gil Confident That Bad Publicity Generated By His Drunken Behavior In A Plane To London Will Not Affect His New Movie Adversely

STAR CINEMA decided to go on with the showing of "Everyday I Love You" in spite of the bad publicity generated by the drunken incident in an airplane that its lead actor, Enrique Gil, went through recently. Enrique himself does not believe that the said incident will have a negative effect on the movie's performance at the box office.

"Maganda yung movie, the story is very good, we play more mature roles and we did our best ng mga kasama kong sina Liza Soberano and Gerald Anderson. We're very proud of it, so I'm positive that viewers will support and enjoy watching it," he says. "About what happened before, nangyari na yun, it's in the past, wala akong magagawa if some people continue to bring it up, but as far as I'm concerned, nag-sorry na ako tungkol sa nangyari to all the people na nasangkot doon. I've also learned my lessons."

So what's the real score between him and Liza now? "I'm at my happiest when I'm with her. Lagi ko talaga siya sinasabihan ng I love you everyday, but then,I don't want to rush her into a relationship kasi she's only 17 years old at hindi pa puedeng ipilit. Sabi niya, to wait until her 18th birthday in January and let's see kung ano ang puedeng mangyari. Basta I will wait for the countdown at nandito lang ako."

Liza herself says that Enrique is the guy who is her closest friend at the moment. "Everyday I Love You" is directed by Mae Cruz Alviar who's known for her hit romantic comedies. It opens in theaters nationwide on October 28.
