The story of “Beautiful Strangers” gets more engrossing when Lovi Poe as Joyce is attacked by Dina Bonnevie as Alejandra in the parking lot and gets severely wounded on her head. Dina orders that the CCTV footage showing her attacking Lovi be destroyed. Lovi is in coma for a while but when she regains consciousness, she thinks it’s Heart Evangelista as Kristine who’s the culprit. Heart is arrested by the police and gets imprisoned for something Dina did. Heart also learns the truth that it is really her dad, Christopher de Leon as Ronaldo, who then tried to rape Lovi and attempted to kill her, so she becomes very angry with her dad for causing all the troubles in their family.
