OTWOL followers say that Jadine’s show is much more entertaining to watch as it’s lighter compared to PSI where the characters are so full of bitterness, hatred and revenge. This past week, OTWOL became even more interesting because Nadine’s character decided to return back to Manila, leaving James in San Francisco, California. This is because she found out that her mom, Isay Alvarez, who she, her sister and her dad all thought was already dead, turns out to be alive and already has another family in America. So Nadine, so disappointed, heads for home and we may expect James’ character to follow her to Manila.
Lots of fans say Jadine is much more endearing because they don’t try to make their fans believe that there might be something going on between them, unlike other love teams that try to lead on their fans. Also, both James and Nadine have improved a lot in their acting, handling their dramatic scenes persuasively and with much heartfelt feeling.
They should thank Antoinette Jadaone, OTWOL’s writer-director, for giving them very good material to work on and also handling them well. Their "no daya" kissing scenes are also appreciated by the fans, unlike other young love teams that are full of kakiyemehan and cheat on their supposed kissing scenes.
But we’re sure that ABS-CBN will not allow Jadine to overtake Kathniel or Lizquen that easily. After all, the Jadine love team does not really belong to them since both James and Nadine are actually managed by Viva Artists, unlike Kathniel and Lizquen who are all Star Magic homegrown talents. Another advantage of James is he has a much more hunky physique and he’s not afraid to take off his shirt to bare it, much to the delight of female and gay fans. He’s been discovered by ABS in PBB but it’s Viva who turned him into a goldmine.
