REGINE VELASQUEZ, hubby Ogie Alcasid and son Nate were finally able to move to their newly renovated home in Quezon City last week. How big is it compared to the old one which we got to visit before? “Hindi naman sobrang laki kasi we just extended it a bit,” she says. “Kasi nang ipagawa namin yun originally, there was just the two of us ni Ogie. Siempre, he also needs more space to run around. Hindi ko naisip na pupunta pala sila sa amin kung weekends and family day is very important for both of us. Enjoy kami having them with us. Ha-ha-ha! Hindi naman ako kumuha ng interior designer. Ako mismo ang nag-aayos kaya ang hirap!”
She’s really looking forward to her concert series at Solaire Resorts & Casino, “Regine at the Theatre”. My problem was acid reflux. Nagka-crack ang voice ko and it was very hard for me to sing kaya ang confidence level ko, bumaba. Talagang hirap akong kumanta but now, slowly, slowly, I’m getting back. Thankful ako sa PLDT Home for their series of mall shows na na-practice talaga ako. As my doctor said, kailangan talaga, you have to keep on singing para yung muscle memory mo, babalik din and your voice will get used to hitting high notes again. So thank God, it’s getting back to normal with the help of regular vocalization.”
So don’t miss Regine singing hit songs from musicals here and abroad on November 6&7, 20&21 at the Solaire Resorts and Casino. You can get your tickets now from Solaire or Ticketnet.
