“Medyo weird yung setup namin kasi my twin kids, Quino and Chesi, live in the townhouse na dati ko nang pag-aari since I was a congressman,” says Sen. Chiz. “Medyo maliit yun, so hindi magkakasya lahat ng gamit ni Heart if she’d join us so she’s renting another townhouse na malapit sa townhouse namin ng mga anak ko. Walking distance lang naman kaya hindi mahirap kung palipat-lipat man ako. At night, pinapatulog ko muna yung kambal at pag okay na sila, then lilipat na ko sa townhouse ni Heart para kami ang magkasama throughout the night. Then, sa morning, I wake up early para naman makita ko yung mga bata at maihatid sila sa kanilang school. Medyo mahirap ang setup but okay naman. Maganda. Masaya.”
Heart says it’s good the new house they’re constructing right now is about to be completed. It will be the love nest of their whole family. “Doon, magsasama-sama na kaming lahat,” she says. “We’re all excited na sana makalipat na kami roon. Sa labas, Mediterranean ang design ng house, but sa loob, French country look naman ang ayos para maging very homey ang dating for the twins. Sana nga, matapos na soon, para makalipat na kami.” “Kapag natapos na yung pinagagawang bahay, pwede ko nang ipagmalaking ‘ibinabahay’ ako ni Heart Evangelista,” Sen. Chiz jokes.
Career-wise, Heart is so happy that her current soap, “Beautiful Strangers”, continues to enjoy high ratings, good feedback from viewers and full commercial load. “Nakakatuwa to be part of a successful show like this.
