VILMA SANTOS fans will surely be glad that initial feedback on the new movie she’s doing with Star Cinema, “All of My Life”, is very favorable. Those who’ve seen the rushes of her dramatic scenes in the movie say she has a good chance of bagging another acting award as she really gives another great performance.
In the story, she plays a very rich but grouchy lady who is always at odds with her caretaker, played by Angel Locsin, but their relationship will eventually blossom and they’ll be closer to each other as the movie goes on. This is under the direction of Joyce Bernal and with Xian Lim as Angel’s love interest. It is slated to be released in late October, so they’re rushing the shooting of all the remaining scenes.
Gov. Vi was also crowned recently as Queen of the Province, Holder of Authority (or Baealabi A Gausa Sa Batangas) last weekend by the Muslim community of Batangas in ceremonies held at the Lima Park Hotel, Malvar/Lipa City. The rites was led by Royal Highness Sultan Paramount Faizal Coyogan Benaning Bansao of the Royal Houses of Sultanate of Batangas. The event was witnessed by more than 3,000 Muslim brothers and leaders from Batangas as well as Brunei and Malaysia. Proud and grateful, Gov. Vi came in a Muslim costume.
"Malaking karangalan para sa akin dahil kasama ko ang mga kapatid na Muslim para matupad ang maayos na programa sa Batangas mula pa ng Mayor ako”, she says. Gov. Vi also took the chance to plug that she’s featured in Yes! magazine's October issue and she’s on the cover along with sons Luis Manzano and Ryan Christian.
