“There’s a part of me like Tere who can be very trusting sa mga lalaki and there’s a part of me like Wendy who’s bubbly, adventurous, loves life,” she says. “One thing common sa aming tatlo is we love our respective families and we are all working hard for our loved ones. Wendy in ‘PreNup’ is really funny kasi she was raised in an unconventional family. Ampon siya, along with Melai Cantiveros and Ella Cruz ng two gay parents, sina Gardo Versoza and Dominic Ochoa. Nagpunta siya sa New York para hanapin ang kanyang biological dad and on her way there, na-meet niya sa plane si Sam Milby at doon nagsimula ang romance nila. When they return to Manila, gusto na nilang pakasal, but Sam’s parents, Jaclyn Jose and Freddie Webb, are against it. Super yaman sila kaya gusto nila mag-sign muna ko ng prenup agreement para hindi ko kamkamin ang kayamanan ng family nila. That makes the story very complicated but also very funny dahil feel good movie talaga itong ‘The PreNup’.”
With Marian Rivera now preggy, no doubt Jen has become the top Kapuso actress at the moment. She’s currently acting in a soap, ‘My Faithful Husband’, hosting her own cooking show and also being one of the judges in “Starstruck Season 6.” And everyone notices that despite her very busy and hectic schedule, she seems to have bloomed even more and looks lovelier and sexier on screen. As “The PreNup” director himself, Jun Lana, says: “Talagang sobrang ganda at sexy ng rehistro niya on screen sa bawat eksena na ‘PreNup’. Ka-in love, in love talaga ang kabuuan niya. Kaya hindi katakatakang naakit sa kanya si Sam Milby, on and off camera.”
“The PreNup” opens in theaters nationwide on October 14. There’s now a demand from Pinoys abroad to also show show it in the U.S. and Middle East. Let’s see if Mother Lily and Roselle Monteverde would grant their request.
