So what he’s been doing while away from the limelight? “I did some projects not in line with showbiz. Busy naman ako.”

Now that Boss Vic is in charge, we heard it’s not only Diether who’ll appear on TV5 but also Claudine Barretto who’ll be doing a teleserye with TV5 resident star Jasmine Curtis Smith. We heard they will be paired with either Robin Padilla or Cesar Montano. Maricel Soriano and Roderick Paulate are said to be doing a sitcom. We heard they also tapped Richard Gutierrez to star in the new reincarnation of “Ang Panday”. But if we were Richard, we’d honestly opt to have another show. “Panday” was already done before by Jericho Rosales on ABS-CBN with a big budget and shot in the Ilocos sand dunes, but it didn’t rate as high as expected. Just do something original and more appealing for today’s generation of millennial viewers.
