It'll be recalled that Heart's mom was very much opposed to Chiz when they got married but the senator's sincerity in his love for Heart eventually won her. So we won't be surprised if he'd later on succeed to persuade his mother in law to also vote for Sen. Grace.
Meantime, Heart is very glad that her primetime soap with Lovi Poe on GMA-7, "Beautiful Strangers", continues to get good feedback and high ratings. The story has become so complicated when Dina Bonnevie as the manipulative Alejandra succeeds in convincing Lovi Poe as Joyce that they're really allies when she saved Lovi from Kier Legaspi as Rigor who allegedly tried to kill Lovi, when he's actually about to tell Lovi the truth. Kier is shot, but before he expires, he manages to leave a piece of evidence with Heart as Kristine to show who really tried to kill Lovi before. Heart tells Lovi about this and, initially, Lovi doesn't want to believe, until she herself hears Dina talking to Christopher de Leon about the evil deed they did to Lovi in the past. Lovi and Heart now team up against Dina and Christopher. In the case of Rocco Nacino as Noel, he gets jealous when his cousin, Gabby Eigenmann as Atty. Gani, becomes very, very close to Heart.
