What can he say about Jen’s acting? “She’s the best. Puede siyang tawaging rom-com queen, bagay talaga sa kanya after the success of her movies (‘English Only Please’, ‘The Prenup’), but in fairness to her, she’s also good in doing drama scenes. Ito kasing ‘Walang Forever’, hindi lang ito basta rom-com, marami rin itong dramatic scenes and she’s also good in all of them.”
Did he have second thoughts about accepting the project that was originally meant for JM de Guzman? “No, it was never an issue. Noon ko pa gusto gumawa ng ganitong light drama with touches of comedy na matagal ko nang hindi nagagawa, so I consider this an answered prayer and I want to thank the Lord for granting my request. Kahit na third choice pa ako, I won’t let go of the opportunity to do this project na Metro filmfest entry pa.”
