The latest couple to part ways, so the grapevine says, is Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin. To think they just came from a vacation abroad during the holidays and everyone is expecting that the next thing they’ll announce is that they’re now officially engaged.
The separation story came out in time for the showing of Angel’s movie, “Everything About Her”, with Luis’ mom, Gov. Vilma Santos, so some folks concluded it’s just part of the film’s promo. But there are those who swear the breakup is true and not just a gimmick to publicize the movie. And the graded A movie surely does not need this kind of promo as it can certainly stand by itself.
This is not the first time that Luis and Angel broke up since they’ve done that before then got together again. So it looks like that it’s not true that love is lovelier the second time around. Gov. Vi is said to be so surprised because her own son didn’t at all inform her about it. Angel is now a judge in “Pilipinas Got Talent”, where Luis is one of the hosts. You won’t notice from their behavior in the show that something’s afoot.Well, as they say, the show must go on. Don’t expect them to reveal the reason or reasons for their breakup, They never did so the first time it happened so do you think they’ll be more open about it now? Even when Luis broke up with Jennylyn Mercado, we never knew the reason why. Someone told us the reason why Luis and Angel broke up for the second time, but we don’t know if we’d believe it as it sounds very controversial.
But while others are breaking up, Cristine Reyes and the father of her baby girl, Ali Kathibi, formally tied the knot at Balesin Island last Wednesday. Cristine won’t announce where the wedding would take place but her own sister, Ara Mina, earlier revealed when interviewed by the press at the presscon of “Tasya Fantasya”, that it’s in Balesin and only a few people are invited “kasi sobrang mahal naman sa Balesin as it’s very exclusive.” It’s said there will be another wedding here in Manila where they’ll invite more people. To Cristine and groom, here’s hoping your marriage will last a lifetime.
