Parangnormal Activity' & 'Lolabasyang.Com' Give Way To 'Tasya Fantasya' On TV5's Saturday Night Programming

DIRECTOR PERCI INTALAN’s pet projects with TV5 were affected by Viva Entertainment’s take over of the Kapatid network. He and Jun Lana’s IdeaFirst Company is line producing the Saturday night shows, “ParangNormal Activity” and “LolaBasyang.com”, which are both rating very well.

Viva is now showing “Tasya Fantasya” in the Saturday evening slot. Perci’s shows are being transferred to an afternoon slot, but he begged off. He opted to just temporarily end the two shows so they will have a season ender on January 30.

“Hindi naman tatapusin yung dalawang show kundi parang rest lang muna kaya season ender lang,” he says. “Para in case gusto nila uli ibalik later, we can still do so.”

So, to the fans of the teen stars of “ParangNormal” headed by Ella Cruz and Boots Anson Roa who plays “Lola Basyang”, please say goodbye to your regular Saturday shows and welcome “Tasya Fantasya”.

We met Perci at the special screening of Jun Lana’s “Anino sa Likod ng Buwan” at the newly reopened UP Film Center. We’re glad we finally got the chance to see it kasi, lalahatin na namin, talbog kay LJ Reyes lahat ng puedeng ma-nominate na best actress for last year’s films. She gave out the most harrowing, most affecting performance we saw for movies released last year.

No wonder she won best actress at the Pacific Meridian International Filmfest in Russia. And the film itself is one of the three best films we saw for 2015. We like it better than Lana’s equally acclaimed “Barber’s Tales”. We’ll write a full review later as it most certainly deserves a wide theatrical release. It’s biggest problem will be the MTRCB as the bed scene involving LJ and Luis Alandy is really too graphic.
