“I’m enjoying this show kasi very relaxed ang atmosphere namin sa set,” he says. “I look forward to each taping day kasi I love working with Carla Abellana, Gabby Concepcion, Yia Villania and the rest of the cast. Ang ganda ng team work naming lahat at laging puno ng good vibes ang set kaya nakakatuwa dahil hindi kami parang nagtratrabaho but we’re just having a good time with each other. This is very important kasi, kung hindi ka happy sa mga kasama mo, mai-stress ka lang at nakakatamad mag-taping.”
As Oliver in “Because of You”, Rafael tries his best to win back Carla as Andrea, who tells him she doesn’t want to have a boyfriend now that she has reconciled with her long lost father, played by Carla’s real life dad Rey PJ Abellana as Conrado. Her friend Iya Villania as Rebecca is against Carla’s decision to allow her dad to live with her in her house because she doesn’t really know him that well. It turns out Rebecca’s suspicions are true as Rey really just wants to use his daughter for his own selfish motives. He even steals her watch, gets P50,000 from her for a business he said he’s putting up then connives with thugs to rob Carla’s house. They got Carla’s jewelry box with her treasured family picture, but Rafael manages to get it back so she treats him like a hero. But it doesn’t mean she’s ready to give the erring Rafael a second chance on love. Rafael gets drunk and tries to force himself on her, but someone punches him. It’s Gabby Concepcion as Jaime or Boss Yummy.
