Andrew E Back In Two New TV Shows On TV5 & ABS-CBN After Many Years Of Being Inactive

ANDREW E became a top comedian in the 90s when his “Humanap Ka ng Panget” hit it real big and even became a hit movie. He even got paired with Sharon Cuneta no less. But his acting career didn’t progress as well as his contemporary and co-rapper then, Michael V. He’s now glad to be back on the scene with two new TV shows no less.

He’s a judge on TV5-Viva’s “Born to be a Star” seen on Saturdays and Sundays. And now, from Monday to Friday, he will be seen on ABS-CBN’s new soap, “Dolce Amore”. So how did he get his part in the new Liza Soberano-Enrique Gil soap?

“Nasa ABS ako nang ang talent coordinator nilang si Tang Adriano, nakita ako at tinanong ako kung interesado ba akong mag-soap,” he says. “Sabi ko, why not? Sino ang makakasama ko? Yung LizQuen daw. E, ang mga anak ko, fans ng LizQuen, so I agreed right away. O, ito na nga yung ‘Dolce Amore’. Gift ko ito sa kids ko kasi matagal na nila akong hindi napapanood sa TV. Excited din ako dahil bagong mundo ito para sa akin. Sinabi ko naman sa kanilang hindi pa ko sanay rito. Nagpapasalamat talaga ako sa ABS-CBN for giving me the chance na umarte uli. At biro mo, naglalagare pa ako ngayon sa ABS and TV5, kaya masasabi kong ang ganda talaga ng pasok ng 2016 for me.”

What’s his role in “Dolce Amore”? “OFW ako at misis ko si Sunshine Cruz na first time kong makapareha kasi nakapareha ko na before yung cousins niyang sina Sheryl, Geneva and Donna. Pero siya ngayon, pa lang talaga at mag-asawa pa kami.”

We heard that the two of them will turn out to be the real parents of a major character in the story.
