But Isabelle’s mom, our first Miss Universe Gloria Diaz, says she’s not ready to see her first daughter walking down the aisle yet. Gloria says her daughter is only 27 years old and, in modern times now, this is still too young for a woman to get married. She feels Isabelle should wait until she’s around 30.
“I myself got married when I was already 36 and still had two children,” she says. “So kahit mga 30 siya, puede pa. But then, wala na akong magagawa. It’s not my choice. I can only suggest.”
Isabelle says she’s not surprised at her mom’s reaction. “She will never be ready to let go of me naman,” she adds.
