WHEN THEY CELEBRATED their first wedding anniversary in Sorsogon last weekend, Heart Evangelista says she felt she really made the right decision in choosing Sen. Chiz Escudero to be her lifetime partner. “Even if he’s now so busy because of his rigorous campaign as vice president in the May elections, he always finds time for me and his twins,” she says. "I'm lucky that I don't have a political monster husband. Cool lang siya lagi, very relaxed. He never makes me feel like he's galit sa mundo or super stressed. Alam kong public service is his true passion, his number one love, pero okay lang dahil sincere siya in his desire to help people.
And no matter how pressured he is, he doesn’t forget to cheer me up and give me words of encouragement in my new career as a painter. Very supportive siya at ibinibili pa ako ng canvass and brushes. He’s really the light of my life, my mentor, my inspirations who always makes me feel that he loves me so much. My husband, I am who I am today all because of you.
