MOTHER LILY has reason to be happy. After her hit Metro filmfest entry, “Haunted Mansion”, Regal’s new
release, “Love is Blind”, is now also doing well at the box office, raking in P5 million on its opening day (no padding.)
The romantic comedy starring Derek Ramsay, Kiray Celis and Solenn Heussaff got a Grade B from the Cinema Evaluation Board. Audiences inside the theater are really laughing out loud on the antics of Kiray while trying hard to seduce the hunky Derek. The editing of the scenes where Kiray’s face changes into Solenn, and vice versa, is very well done, adding a lot to the merriment. The stage is set now for Kiray’s follow up movie, “I Love You to Death”, which will be a horror comedy.
