REGINE VELASQUEZ is back not only on the concert scene with “Royals” this Valentine at the MOA Arena but also on television with her new primetime series, “Poor Senorita”, where she plays the title role no less.
“Na-miss ko rin ang pag-arte and it’s nice to be back doing something like this,” she says. “My last regular TV soap was ‘I Heart You, Pare’ pa, na hindi ko nga natapos because I got pregnant with Nate.”
Her co-stars in "Poor Senorita" are Snooky Serna, Mikael Daez, Sheena Halili, Kevin Santos, Valeen Montenegro, Jaya, Ervic Vijandre, Jillian Ward, Miggs Cauderno, Zymic Jaranilla, Caprice Cayetano and introducing Ralph Noriega, Starstruck runners up Ayra Mariano, Elyson de Dios, with the special participation of Ricky Davao, under the direction of Dominic Zapata. The target playdate is mid-March. Well, here’s wishing Regine a big welcome back to acting and hope history won't repeat itself and she won’t get knocked up again by Ogie Alcasid in the middle of the show’s telecast.
Meantime, Regine, Martin Nievera, Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto promise to give concertgoers a great time with the repertoire of love songs perfectly suited for Valentine in their “Royals” concert at MOA Arena on February 13 and Cebu Waterfront Hotel on February 14.
