Two New Kapamilya Shows Start Monday Night: 'We Will Survive' And 'The Story Of Us'

TWO NEW KAPAMILYA shows are starting tonight. First is “We Will Survive”, a comedy-drama topbilled by comedians Pokwang as Wilma Bonanza and Melai Cantiveros as Maricel Rubio, under the direction of Jeffrey Jeturian. With them in the cast are Carlo Aquino, Ahron Villena, Jeric Raval, Joshua Zamora, Regine Angeles, Bea Saw, Maris Racal, Alchris Galura, McCoy de Leon, Vangie Labalan and Bing Davao. This will replace “Pasion de Amor” at 6 PM.


The other show is “The Story of Us” and this will replace “On the Wings of Love”. “The Story of Us” stars the KimXi love team of Kim Chiu as Christine Tin Manalo and Xian Lim as Ferdinand Macoy Sandoval. Directed by Richard Somes, they have taped some scenes in New York City no less. Supporting them are Zsa Zsa Padilla, Aiko Melendez, John Arcilla (who’s also in “That’s My Amboy” of GMA-7), Susan Africa, Bryan Santos, Janus del Prado, Mara Lopez, Travis Kraft, and child stars Zaijian Jaranilla as the young Xian and Alyanna Angeles as the young Kim.
