How’s her new leading man, Mike Tan? “Sobrang galing niya. Natulala ako noong may crying scene siya, sobrang dami ng luha niya. Ang gaan-gaan niyang katrabaho.”
Her last soap, “Lihim ni Annasandra”, was last year yet. How come it took a long while before she got a followup project? “Okay lang naman kasi I’m in ‘Bubble Gang’ and I did the Cambodia project nga. And ‘Millionaire’s Wife’ is worth the long wait. Ang ganda ng material. ‘Annasandra’ was fantasy, ito naman, realistic drama. I play a nurse na umibig kay Mike Tan at naanakan niya, but he was imprisoned when he was implicated in a drug-related crime. I have to raise our son as a single mother, pero nagkaroon naman ito ng diabetes at a young age. Naging pasyente ko ang very rich man na si Tito Robert Arevalo. Noong una, ayaw niya sa’kin, but he eventually falls in love with me and offers me marriage. So and dilemma ko is: is it love or money? Nang pakasal ako sa kanya, sobrang against sa’kin ang only child niya, si Jaclyn Jose, at ang mga apo niya, Ina Raymundo and Sid Lucero. Kasama rin dito si Rich Asuncion as my best friend.”
In real life, what would she choose: love or money? “Siempre, love. Kasi yung money, puede mo pa namang pagtrabahuhan yon. Dapat, doon ka sa kung sinong mahal mo’t makapagpapasaya sa iyo.”
So how’s her rumored BF, Sef Cadayona? “I don’t know, hindi kami nagkikita. Mula nang nag-start ako ng taping for ‘Millionaire’s Wife’ nang four times a week, semi-regular na lang ako sa ‘Bubble Gang’ so we haven’t seen each other lately.”
