At ang JaDine, very open na sa kissing scenes, samantalang ang KathNiel, ending na ng ‘Pangako Sa’Yo’, dinaya pa rin ang kissing scene nila.”
What’s nice about JaDine is that they’ve always been upfront about their relationship. Both Viva talents, they first worked together when they were paired in James’ music video for his song ‘Alam Niya Ba’ in 2013. Boss Vic del Rosario saw the potential of their love team and, the next year, they were paired in “Diary ng Panget”, the first Wattpad story made into film. It was a big hit.
That time, both of them were in a relationship with non-showbiz people. He with Erica Villonco and she with JC Arcinue. But they eventually became free and unattached and this gave hope to their followers. Still, they never gravitated toward each other romantically and claimed they’re just good friends. They did two more movies, “Talk Back and You’re Dead” and “Para sa Hopeless Romantic”, not as big a hit as their first movie, but still made money.Then ABS-CBN paired them in “On the Wings of Love”, which quickly became a hit on primetime since they play very endearing characters in a refreshing soap that shuns the usual mushy melodrama of most primetime shows. Their love team gained more fans and supporters. Then came their Araneta Coliseum concert last February 20. James told Nadine in front of everyone: “I love you”. That sent the fans shrieking and screaming. And finally, they admitted that yes, they’re officially on.
