RAYMART SANTIAGO doesn’t want to comment about the news that his ex-wife Claudine Barretto’s comeback soap is not rating well while his own show, “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli”, is a top rater on GMA’s Afternoon Prime.
“Wala akong maiko-comment diyan kasi di wala akong alam tungkol sa show nila,” he says. “Basta ako, I’m happy na talagang lagi raw mataas ang rating ng ‘Hanggang Makita Kang Muli’ kaya inspirado lahat kami sa cast tuwing taping.”
We’re not surprised that the show has high ratings because it is so fast paced, thanks to Laurice Guillen’s astute direction. This week, Bea Binene as the feral child Ana will be chased by the people who think she’s dangerous. Ina Feleo as Odessa continues to pursue her to kill her. Ana is cornered in the railroad tracks and people thought she is killed by a rushing train but she’s able to jump into the river below.
Derrick Monasterio as Calvin rescues her and takes her to house of Angelika de la Cruz as Evelyn, Ana’s real mom who is the godmother of Derrick. Evelyn subjects Ana to various tests to determine her well being, saying Ana is the first case of feral child in our country and she has to be turned over to the DSWD, not knowing Ana is her long lost daughter. Angelika’s adopted child, Kim Rodriguez as Claire, becomes very hostile to Ana and tries to hurt her. Angelika tries her best to nurture Ana and teach her how to behave like a normal human being, making Kim jealous all the more. Angelika is surprised when Ana calls her “Mama”.
