Rita Avila And Husband Director Fm Reyes' Afternoon Shows, 'Hanggang Makita Kang Muli' & 'Tubig At Langis' Compete Directly With Each Other

RITA AVILA and husband Director FM Reyes are competitors. Rita is with GMA-7’s new soap, “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli”, playing Glenda Manahan, the mother of Derrick Monasterio and wife of Ramon Christopher, while her husband FM is directing the rival “Tubig at Langis” on ABS-CBN.
“Walang magagawa kasi trabaho lang naman ito,” says Rita. “May the best show win na lang.”


And according to AGB Nielsen, “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli” did very well in the ratings game in Mega-Manila during its first week of telecast, beating its competitor. It seems like viewers enjoy the story of a girl, Bea Binene as Ana, who gets imprisoned in a barn for many years, with only a dog to keep her company, and grows up to be a feral child who doesn’t know how to talk and behaves like an animal.
