Stephanie Henares And Gino De La Pena Wed At Montemar Beach Club Last Saturday, March 5

CONGRATULATIONS to Stephanie Henares and Gino de la Pena, both former GMA-7 talents, who faced the altar at Montemar Beach Club in Bataan last Saturday, March 5. Stephanie’s mom, Ida Henares, used to be the head of GMA Artist Center while her dad is former singer now talent manager and also actor (he’s a mainstay in “Pepito Manaloto”), Ronnie Henares. Among their guests are Stephanie’s first cousins, Rhian Ramos and siblings Quark and Cristalle Henares.

Stephanie appeared in some soaps, notably in “Machete” where she played the role of Valerie Santillan. In the movies, she played a supporting role in “Secret Affair” then played the lead role in the movie “Paglipad ng Angel” with Sid Lucero, directed by Doy del Mundo. She has since joined the corporate world and now works with SM.

Gino started as a TV commercial model then also went into acting, doing supporting roles like in “Magic Palayok” and “My Husband’s Lover”, and in movies like “Mga Mumunting Lihim”, and into hosting in “Unang Hirit”. He also joined “Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles” in 2008, with Stefanie Prescott as his partner. He and his bride Stephanie met when they became co-hosts of an extreme sports show for GMA that took them together in various parts of the country. Here’s wishing the newlyweds that they will have a long and lasting married life together.
