Susan Roces Kills The Detractors Of Her Daughter Sen. Grace Poe's With Kindness

SUSAN ROCES, now known as Lola Kap for her role as Coco Martin’s feisty grandma in “Ang Probinsiyano”, can now heave a sigh of relief after the Supreme Court has given the go signal to her daughter, Sen. Grace Poe, to officially run for president. Instead of gloating or censuring Grace’s detractors who filed the disqualification cases against her, Tita Swanie even thanked them. “Maraming-mara­ming salamat po sa inyo na nagsampa ng mga demandang ito. Tinatanaw naming utang na loob, kasama ng lahat ng mga batang napulot sa buong Pilipinas, dahil nagkaroon ng boses ang lahat ng katulad ng anak kong si Grace,” she says.

She also has good words for those who supported Grace. “Wala na akong ibang masabi kung hindi maraming-mara­ming salamat sa suporta, sa mga panalangin. Patuloy akong nananalangin na maging karapat-dapat si Grace sa kung anuman ang landas na tatahakin niya. Ang ipinaglalaban namin ni Grace ay ang mga karapatan ng mga bata na katulad niya na napulot at inampon. Hindi lamang karapatan ni Grace at ng kanyang pagtakbo bilang pangulo ang ipinaglaban dito, kung hindi ang karapatan niyang maging kapantay ng lahat.”

Even Grace’s adoptive sister, Lovi Poe, expressed her gladness and posted on her Instagram account: “Great news on International Women’s day! So happy for my president @sengracepoe as well as my vice-president Sen. Chiz!”

Lovi’s BFF and Sen. Chiz’ wife, Heart Evangelista, also congratulated Sen. Grace and also thanked Lovi for supporting them in their campaign rallies in the provinces for the Partido Galing at Puso of Sen. Grace and Sen. Chiz, especially now that Heart is so busy taping for her forthcoming rom-com series that will start airing soon, “Juan Happy Love Story”, where she plays Happy while Dennis Trillo plays her leading man, Juan.
