    Elizabeth Oropesa & Alvin Anson Win Top Acting Awards In The Sinag Maynila Film Festival

    THE SINAG MAYNILA FILM FESTIVAL currently being held at SM Cinemas had its awards night last Sunday at the SM Aura Samsung Hall. The big winner is “Mrs.”, which won best picture, best director for Adolf Alix Jr., best actress for title-roler Elizabeth Oropesa and best cinematography for Albert Banzon. Elizabeth shared her award with Lotlot de Leon, her co-star in the movie.

    Alvin Anson won best actor for the action film “Expressway”, which co-starred Aljur Abrenica. There are no awards for supporting performers. Other winners are Archie del Mundo and Jay Altarejos for best screenplay in “TPO”, best production production design for Marielle Hizon in “Lila”, best editing for Benjamin Tolentino for “Expressway”, best musical score for Francis de Veyra for “Expressway”, best sound for Drew Millalos for “TPO”, SM People’s Choice and Blink Box Office Film Award for “Lila”.
