The Coming Elections Are Polarizing Even Showbiz People

THE COMING May 9 elections are polarizing people in showbiz, even father and son. Vic Sotto and his wife Pauleen Luna are very open in supporting the candidacy of Grace Poe as president and Chiz Escudero as vice president. They even joined the campaign rally of Grace and Chiz’ Partido Galing at Puso in Cebu last week. But Vic’s own son, Oyoboy, and his wife Kristine Hermosa, are endorsing Mayor Duterte. But of course, it turns out that Oyo and Kristine are not registered voters.

Kris Aquino is openly endorsing Leni Robredo as vice president. But Kris is not supporting Mar Roxas, who’s the candidate supported by her own brother Pres. Noynoy. Wonder what Mar’s wife, Korina Sanchez, feels about this since she and Kris became very good friends when they hosted a morning talk show together some years ago.

Ogie Alcasid is also a Noynoy supporter, but now, he and his wife Regine Velasquez are supporting Sen. Grace Poe. Dingdong Dantes likewise used to be an ally of Noynoy, but now, he’s not supporting Mar, only Leni as vice president.
