“I’m calling on all my fans and supporters who live in those places para magpunta sa malls where I’d promote my album,” says Derrick. “This is my time to meet them para makapag-bonding naman ako sa kanila. I’m hoping to have an amazing time with all of them.”

Meantime, Derrick is also proud and happy that his daily drama series, “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli”, continues to be a top rater on GMA-7’s Afternoon Prime. “Abangan nyo kasi this week, makikipag-break na ako kay Kim Rodriguez as Claire after I see her with another guy na sasapakin ko,” he adds. “I will cry dahil sa nangyari at yayakapin ko si Bea Binene as Angela, who has fallen for me. But later on, I will tell her that I love her, but only as a friend, bilang kaibigan lang talaga. And yet, aawayin pa rin siya ni Kim dahil iisipin nitong si Bea ang ipinalit ko sa kanya. Kim will do everything para magkabalikan kami.”
What can he say to the observation of some writers that he is a threat to Alden Richards as GMA's most popular young actor? "Friends kami ni Alden so sana, huwag na lang kaming intrigahin. Pati albums namin, pinagkukumpara. Malayo na ang narating niya, but I'd be glad kung, balang araw, makarating ako sa success na narating niya."
