JANINE GUTIERREZ has kissing scenes with Aljur Abrenica in “Once Again” that starts airing tonight after “Poor Senorita”. Did she have to ask the permission first of her BF Elmo Magalona? “Hindi naman kailangan dahil pareho kaming artista and we both understand na it’s part of our job, pero pinaalam ko pa rin sa kanya,” she says. “Love story ang material ng bago naming series, so understandable na may kissing scenes kami ni Aljur. Bale we play two sets of characters. Una as Reign and Edgar, who both died tragically so our love affair was not consummated. Then we get reincarnated as Des and Aldrin na muling magkikita at iibig sa isa’t isa.”
Does she believe in reincarnation? “I’m not sure, pero malay natin, baka naman totoo. But the idea of being reborn and falling in love with each other all over again is very romantic, di ba? Basta ‘Once Again’ will show viewers the power of undying love and being given a second chance on love.”
