It was reported that she left their home in Marina Baytown in Paranaque and lived in with Onglao in his Makati home. They showed pictures of them together being so sweet and lovey dovey with each other. There were pictures of their being engaged, complete with the ring he gave her, and reports of their coming wedding in Italy before the year ends.
Then, so suddenly, it all came crashing down. Zsa Zsa was reported to have left Onglao’s Makati digs to return to her daughters Zia and Nicole in Marina. Later, she’s said to have gotten back all her things from Onglao’s house and returned the engagement ring and a car that he gave to her, saying “I’m done with him na.”
Since no one would reveal what prompted the breakup, various speculations but naturally crop up. It’s said Onglao looked down on showbiz denizens and Zsa Zsa suffered from verbal and emotional abuse. He can allegedly also be physically violent. No confirmation or denial came from the parties concerned.
One female star who is very discreet when it comes to her love affairs is Pops Fernandez. You never saw her flaunting her love affairs after her marriage to Martin Nievera ended, even if she was linked to other guys, like Jomari Yllana and even Onglao himself. Her affairs start and end quietly. Maybe other stars should learn from her example.
As for Zsa Zsa, we’re glad she’s moving on and life goes on for her. She has resumed her taping for “The Story of Us” and she looks good when she was a guest of her daughter Karylle in the recent Mother’s Day presentation of “Showtime”. If and when she’d find another new romance, we pray that she will keep it more private, for her own sake. Well, in an interview, she already she has learned her lesson and will be more discreet in her next romantic relationship. Good for her.
