They narrate how they fell in love with each other, including the big fight they had while doing “Wang Fam”. It also offers tips about fashion, beauty and keeping fit. The book was launched recently at Market Market and a record of 11,000 fans came in full force. “Team Real” is now officially the year’s best selling book with almost 100,000 copies sold since its sale became available on line. But despite their legion of adoring fans, they do have their own share of bashers, like those who say that their alleged love affair is all for show, just to help boost their love team’s popularity.
“We just ignore the bashers,” says James. “All celebrities naman get bashed and there’s nothing we can do about it.”
Is it true James is not in favor of Nadine’s being voted as one of FHM’s Sexiest Women? “It was just a joke. But it’s true I don’t want Nadine to wear stuff that’s too sexy. I’m still conservative at heart.”
“The story will be totally different from ‘OTWOL’,” says Nadine. “Romantic drama pa rin pero magiging mas seryoso ang tema and James and I will play more mature roles.”
They will also be featured in the international magazine, “Teen Vogue”, which has a million circulation worldwide. It has featured Hollywood love teams before like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. “We don’t know how ‘Teen Vogue’ noticed us but we heard merong mga nakapanood sa kanila ng concerts namin sa U.S. and the next thing we knew, may invitation na sa amin to be featured in their magazine,” says Nadine. “We were interviewed when we were in Washington but we don’t know yet kung kailan lalabas.”
