Janice De Belen As Kiray Celis' Mom In 'I Love You Death' Believes Kiray Deserves To Be Launched To Stardom

JANICE DE BELEN plays Kiray Celis’ understanding and supportive mother in Regal’s horror-comedy, “I Love You to Death”. Does she think Kiray is ripe and ready for solo stardom? “Oo naman, magaling siya, e,” says Janice. “Effortless sa kanya ang pagko-comedy. At matagal na siya in the business, having started as a child actress, so it’s about time mabigyan siya ng ganitong break. Maganda naman ang team up nila Enchong Dee sa movie. Yun namang story ng ‘I Love You to Death’, masasabi nating tailor made para sa kanya, kaya tiyak na mage-enjoy ang viewers na panoorin ito dahil tatawa sila from start to finish.”

Janice remains to be very active in both the big and small screen. She’s also seen as the mother of Erich Gonzales in the ABS-CBN daytime show, “Be My Lady”, where she is paired with Al Tantay. Al used to be one of the top lead actors in the 80s, along with two other stars who were both linked to Janice then, Gabby Concepcion and Aga Muhlach. Would she be willing to work with Gabby and Aga again?  “Oo naman, walang problema. Kasi okay naman ang relationship ko with them. Walang issue kasi we’re friends. Nagkukuwentuhan kami when we see each other, so open ako to work with them.”

Although she’s okay to work with Gabby and Aga, this is not the case with her ex-husband John Estrada. “We’re already okay rin naman, hindi na kami magkagalit, we talk, but may mga bagay na hindi talaga puede. Meron kasing mga bagay na hindi kami napagkasunduan noon and it doesn’t mean na if we’d work again, magiging okay yung working relationship namin. It will also be kind of weird for his wife, Priscilla (Meirelles), na nakatrabaho ko sa ‘Be My Lady’, so it’s best talaga na huwag na lang.”
