The 21-year old, Fil-French bombshell first gained public attention when she posted her “Twerk it Like Miley” dance video on the internet, which went viral. Then FHM got her to be their covergirl last December and since then, she has already gotten no less than one million followers on social media. GMA-7 then took notice of her and got her to be in “Bubble Gang”. Now, she’s also doing her first teleserye in “Juan Happy Love Story”.
Sure to be talked about is her love scenes with Dennis Trillo in the series. “They’re hot, but actually, it’s all in the mind of Heart Evangelista,” says Kim. “Dahil sa pagseselos niya, nai-imagine niya ang ginagawa naming pagroromansa ni Dennis sa mismong loob ng bahay nila.”
Did Dennis enjoy shooting the imagined love scenes? It’s Heart who first answers: “I’m sure na-enjoy niya yun. How can he not? E, ang daming love scenes nila na kinunan sa sofa, sa mesa, sa hagdan, sa dingding, sa bathroom. Paalis na ako when they started shooting it at ang bilin ko kay Dennis, enjoy ka ha!”
“Naku, napilitan lang naman ako,” Dennis says in defense. “E, dahil sa professional ako, ginawa ko na lang ang lahat ng pinagagawa sa amin ni Kim ng direktor naming si L.A. Madridejos.”
So does this mean he did not enjoy doing the sexy love scenes? “Wala naman akong magagawa, so napilitan na lang akong i-enjoy ang ginagawa namin.”
How’s Kim? “A, okay na okay siya kasi hindi siya nahihiya. For a newcomer at first time niyang gumawa sa TV ng mga ganung eksena, she did great.”
Did she also enjoy their scenes, like he did? “For that, siya ang dapat nyong tanungin.” It’s said that because of those daring scenes, Kim’s boyfriend of six years broke up with her. How true? “Nabalitaan ko rin ngang nag-break na sila, pero hindi naman siguro dahil doon. Kasi, during the taping namin, nandun yung boyfriend niya sa labas ng set, so alam niya part ng work ni Kim yun.”
The news about Kim’s breakup quickly trended on social media. So many male fans of hers expressed their delight that she’s now unattached again. What can Kim say about this? “Siempre, nandun yung feeling ng panghihinayang kasi, let’s face it, six years is six years. E, siguro, ganun talaga, baka hindi pa lang ibinibigay ni Lord sa akin ang right guy for me,” she says.
Although she’s unlucky in love, at this point, can she say she’s so lucky in her career? “That’s true. Sunod-sunod ang blessings na mga trabahong dumarating sa akin, so doon pa lang, happy na ako. Yung love life naman, hindi mawawala yan, nandiyan lang yan. But the opportunities that are coming my way now, baka hindi na bumalik kung pakakawalan ko pa, so samantalahin ko muna ang good breaks na dumarating sa career ko. Basta watch na lang kayo ng ‘Juan Happy Love Story’ dahil marami pang maiinit na eksena ang mangyayari sa amin ni Dennis as Juan, na ikapagseselos lalo ng wife niyang si Heart as Happy.”
