KIRAY CELIS’ first movie where she played a lead role, “Love is Blind”, is a certified blockbuster. The follow up project to that, “I Love You to Death”, is now about to be shown and Kiray admits she can feel intense pressure as its July 6 play date nears. “Sa ‘Love is Blind’, may Derek Ramsay and Solenn Heussaff na kasama sa cast,” she says. “This time, kami ni Enchong Dee talaga ang magdadala sa movie so sana, suportahan pa rin ng viewers.”
As a child star in “Goin’ Bulilit”, did she really dream of being a lead star some day? I Love You to Death’.
But we heard she had a grand time in her kissing scenes with Enchong Dee?
We’re told she even grabbed Enchong’s butt.
Was she affected by it? “Yes, babae ako, e. Marupok, so naapektuhan ako.
She also had kissing scenes with Derek Ramsay before. So which did she enjoy more, the lips of Derek or Enchong? “Yung kay Enchong. Mas malambot ang lips niya.”
We tell her the trailer of their movie doesn’t have much impact. Unlike “Love is Blind” where viewers were really laughing after watching it. “That’s to be expected kasi comedy ang ‘Love is Blind’, so laugh out loud talaga ang mga tao. Iba naman itong ‘I Love You to Death’ kasi horror-comedy ito.
Playing the parents of Kiray in “I Love You to Death” are Janice de Belen and Betong Sumaya, and supporting them are Michelle Vito, Kuk Son Yong, Paolo Gumabao, Devon Seron, Trina Hopia Legaspi, Nico Nicolas, Christian Bables, Jon Lucas and Dino Pastrano, opening in theatres on July 6 and will be up against Jaclyn Jose's "Ma Rosa". So who would you want to watch first: Kiray or Jaclyn?
