We got to talk to Arianne when she hosted the presscon of “Sa Piling ni Nanay” and we learned that she started as a TV commercial model three years ago, with many folks comparing her to Toni Gonzaga. She’s the leading lady of John Lloyd Cruz in the Magic Flakes ad.
“Marami na akong ibang nagawang TV ads,” she says. “Then nagpa-audition ang GMA Artist Center for new talents, nagpunta ako at pinalad akong makuha. I first appeared in ‘Kambal Sirena’ as best friend ni Winwyn Marquez then as the secretary of Tessie Tomas in ‘Naku Boss Ko’. I enjoyed my role in ‘Naku Boss Ko’ kasi ako talaga yun, jolly, may pagkababaeng bakla.”
Right now, she’s also a guest in “Bubble Gang” every now and then. “Sana, gawin na nila akong regular kasi laging masaya sa set doon, parang hindi trabaho. May part din ako sa ‘Alisto’ ni Arnold Clavio ng GMA News and Public Affairs bilang tagapagpatupad ng batas sa mga pasaway.”
A graduate of tourism from UST, the 24-year old Arianne has ventured into the restaurant business. She co-owns North Wing Manila at UP Village with Louise de los Reyes and she also co-owns Tornado Peri Peri Chicken which has already four branches, the main one being in the famous Maginhawa St. food strip in QC.
She’s happy to be part of a primetime teleserye like “Juan Happy Love Story”. “Dahil dito, mas marami nang nakaka-recognize sa akin. And it’s really a joy to work with both Heart and Dennis Trillo kasi pareho silang magaling at mabait.”
This week, Heart as Happy continues to be suspicious of Dennis as Juan who’s being so lovey dovey to Kim Domingo as Agatha, who is flagrantly flirting with him. Heart suspects that a certain Darling, whose name she sees in Juan’s cellphone, is his mistress. She confronts him about this but this turns out Darling is a real estate broker and Juan has bought a surprise townhouse from her to be their love nest and her suspicions are simply unfounded.
They have a house blessing for their new residence and one of the guests is Kim as Agatha. Her relatives warn Heart that Kim is a threat to her marriage because she’s so seductive, but Kim assures Heart that she has nothing to be afraid of. But Heart continues to feel jealous and accepts the invitation of her former suitor, Joross Gamboa as Tonton, to help him serve kids in an orphanage.
This is where she meets the cute and adorable 6-year old girl, Katkat, and she becomes very fond of the orphan. She wants to have her own baby soon and consults a doctor who says she has irregular menstrual cycle. She and Dennis try different sexual positions but still, she won’t get pregnant. Heart brings Dennis to the orphanage and he meets Katkat. They enjoy having a picnic as a family. Then it’s discovered that their egg and sperm cell are not compatible so they can’t have their own child. Will this be the reason for them to legally adopt Katkat?
