The Reason Why Kris Aquino Chooses To Be A Guest In Marian Rivera's Talk Show After She Returns From Her Hawaiian Vacation

KRIS AQUINO is back in town and, unexpectedly, her first public appearance is not in an ABS-CBN show but on GMA-7. We were at the GMA Studios last Wednesday night for the presscon of Jake Vargas when we learned that Kris is currently in the Kapuso premises taping for her guest appearance in Marian Rivera’s “Yan ang Morning”, along with Yan’s hubby, Dingdong Dantes.

The official reason given is that Kris is one of Yan and Dong’s ninangs sa kasal, so they are quite close, and Kris also wants to acknowledge the fact that the couple supported her bet for vice president in the last election, VP Leni Robredo, who had her inauguration yesterday. Kris’ appearance in “Yan ang Morning” will be aired today, Friday, and here’s hoping it will rate really high.

Of course, some detractors of Kris allege that she did this just to whet the appetite of ABS-CBN bosses, who do not seem to be that excited to renew her expired contract with them. “Matalino si Kris,” says one obvious non-Kris fan. “Siempre, gagawin niyang leverage ang paglabas niya sa GMA para she can boost her stock and make demands sa ABS- CBN when she renews her contract with them.
