Mercedes stars in the Kuwaiti soap opera, “Saq Al Bambu” (The Bamboo Stalk) and she has gained a lot of local fans there for her exotic beauty and her fine performance. She plays the role of a Filipino domestic helper working in Kuwait who falls in love with the son of her employer.
The drama series is airing on Al Rai TV and is seen not only in Kuwait but also in other countries in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
